The International Congresses of the Croatian Society of Mechanics (ICCSM) have been organized by the Croatian Society of Mechanics (CSM) since 1994. The CSM is an association with the aim of promoting education, research and application in the field of solid and fluid mechanics. The aim of the Congress is to create an environment for the exchange of new ideas and achievements in the mechanical sciences. In plenary lectures, prominent researchers will address the state of the art advances in the mechanical sciences. In addition, scientists from all over the world will provide an international forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest advances in various areas of theoretical and applied mechanics in regular contributions. These scientific meetings are also an opportunity for valuable interactions between young and senior researchers, leading to new ideas and promising new research directions. The CSM hopes that this meeting will initiate new collaborations not only on a regional but also on a global level.

The 11th International Congress of Croatian Society of Mechanics is an ECCOMAS Special Interest Conference under the auspices of the Central European Association for Computational Mechanics. Past ICCSM congresses were held in Pula (1994), Supetar, Island of Brač (1997), Cavtat (2000), Bizovac (2003), Seget/Trogir (2006), Dubrovnik (2009), Zadar (2012), Opatija (2015), Split (2018) and Pula (2022).
