Based on the decision of the Assembly of the Croatian Society of
Mechanics adopted on 8 December 2023, the Croatian Society of Mechanics
Award for Young Scientists was established. The Award is granted
annually for outstanding achievements by a scientist up to 35 years of
age. A prerequisite for receiving the Award is a successfully defended
doctoral dissertation. The candidate must be a member of the Croatian
Society of Mechanics for at least one full, uninterrupted year at the
time of application.
The Award is presented at the annual Assembly of the Croatian Society of
Mechanics and includes a certificate and a waived registration fee for
the next Society Meeting (Susreti HDM-a).
